Meet Patrick

Professional Cybersecurity Advisor

I’m Patrick Tatro, an Iraqi war veteran, Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient, and a Ranger school graduate.

In 2007 I was briefing my platoon over the hood of a “humvee” in Iraq.

10 years later, I was briefing a global team of over 80 Cybersecurity professionals on the imminent threat posed by a nation state computer virus named Wannacry.  Wannacry and the following NotPetya virus caused disruptions around the world, crippling global organizations… The threat landscape has only gotten worse since.

In today’s digital landscape, cybersecurity threats are ever-evolving and increasingly sophisticated. As a cybersecurity advisor, I am your strategic partner in navigating these challenges. My approach is intelligence-driven, ensuring that your organization is continuously improving your security posture.

Utilizing years of analyzing breaches and why big security budgets still fail, I provide realistic and feasible solutions to safeguard your data and infrastructure. My commitment to your security is unwavering, with a focus on resilience, integrity, and confidentiality. I work quietly in the background, ensuring the safety and continuity of your operations, much like a vigilant defender.

Together, we will build a robust defense against the cyber threats facing your organization, ensuring your people and digital assets are protected now and into the future.

Alex Townsend

As cybersecurity has become a frontline issue for educational institutions, I was introduced to Patrick Tatro, Dark Knight Solutions, about a year ago. After several conversations we recently contracted with him to serve as another resource to help guide the district to protect district resources. Based on his history and experience in the area of cybersecurity coupled with his genuine interest in doing what’s best for school districts, we expect he will prove to be a valuable resource going forward.

Patrick is a good strategic thinker around how pieces connect to one another. That’s rarer in IT work and he has that capacity to see the landscape, understand the landscape and translate what is being seen into how it will impact us. He can distill it so that we can understand the risk and mitigate it.
